Invitation Inspiration

Let me just say that being in the wedding industry you certainly see a lot of trends. And I, an avid blog lurker myself, have seen countless invitations featured across national blogs and websites. But let me just say seeing these unique takes on wedding stationery is soooo.... much prettier in person.

Check out this awesome save-the-date and invitation. The save-the-dates were adorable. The words were stamped on a linen-textured paper and sewn to card stock. The skeleton key charm adds some character. And take a look at that calligraphy...gorgeous.

The couple continued to carry on their vintage look with ...tada, books! The bride and groom glued the pages of an old, hardcover book together, cut out a few pages to fit the invitation, added ribbon and button embellishments and attached textured, metallic paper to hold the inserts. The reception card, map and invitation was done in letterpress printing. The invitation even had burned edges. How beautiful! Feeling inspired to take a simple invitation and dress it up?
