A Real Texas Wedding: Mallory & Russell: March 13, 2010

1. How did the two of you meet?
We knew each other from High School, but did not care for one another. We reunited when Russell had a party one evening that I was invited to by a co-worker, not even knowing it was at Russell’s house. Russell and I ended up talking to each other all night and the following week we went on a date, the rest is history.

2. How did he propose?
He waited for the perfect date that had a “ring” to it 9-19-09. Russ was working late that evening so he said, I just about got all settled in for the evening had great movie on and a nice glass of wine. Unexpectedly he arrives at my apartment ready to take me out. We end up at our favorite quiet little place we like to go to. He started rambling on about stuff I don’t remember all I remember he said was “ will you marry me?” it was sweet though at first I thought he was joking.

3. What are three characteristics that made you fall for your husband?
My husband is the most Spiritual, Compassionate and Loving man, with a great sense of humor.

4. What was the inspiration behind the design of your wedding?
Springtime was the main inspiration, but the most important addition was this Snow White and the Prince Lenox figurine which sparked on the Enchanted Forest theme. My Husband had a mad crush on snow white when he was little so it all fit. Cause he now as his snow white.

5. What was the most trying part of the planning process?

There wasn’t really a trying part the planning process went really smooth, as we tried to stay on track with the planning.

6. Did either you have a bride/groomzilla moment? Describe.
Yes there was a bridezilla moment it was when our venue booked the other room out from under us.

7. What element of the wedding exceeded your expectations?
The d├ęcor and flowers and just how everything came together beyond what I imagined.

8. If you were a guest attending your wedding, how would you describe it?
I think most of our guests described our wedding was beautiful, magnificent, stunning. Enjoyed the flowers, cake and food. Something they would see out of a Magazine. It was a fun time be with family filled with excitement and romance.

9. Besides marrying the love of your life, what was the most important part of the day?

The ultimate most important part of the day was being united with my husband with God, Family and Friends. Taking our Vows!

10. What are your plans for the future?
Our plans for the future are where ever God leads us, we would like to buy a house expand our family. Travel and just enjoy life.
